The University of Tennessee has joined the list of Division I schools who has made an official scholarship offer to Tampa Catholic junior quarterback Christian Green, Crusaders coach Bob Henriquez said Thursday.
Green already has received offers from several Division I powers, including Florida, Michigan and Florida State. Henriquez said the 6-foot-2, 195-pound Green has no frontrunner among the schools that have made him offers.
In other news from the Crusaders camp, Henriquez says his squad is “about as healthy as it’s been since the start of the season.” TC’s roster has been plaqued by several injuries this fall, including Green, who was slowed by an ankle sprain the first three weeks of the campaign. The Crusaders have now won two straight games and are coming off a bye week as they travel Friday to face St. Petersburg Catholic.
