LONDON, England – The weather here in London turned very London-like on Saturday, and that forced the Bucs to cancel their scheduled walkthrough at Wembley Stadium.
The Bucs, who are the home team for this International Series game against the Patriots and therefore had the advantage of using Wembley for their final walkthrough of plays, adjusted by moving the light workout indoors to a ballroom at their Hyde Park hotel.

“It’s an adjustment and you deal with it,’’ Bucs coach Raheem Morris said. “We’re not going to provide any excuses for ourselves or show any mental weakness over this.

“Our job is to win a football game, and so we’re going hold our walkthrough in this ballroom and move on. There’s no excuses. If we have to play the game in a ballroom tomorrow we’ll do it.’’

The cancelation of the walkthrough was in keeping with a league policy that says any Saturday workout scheduled for the game-day field will be cancelled and the field covered if rain or snow falls 48 hours before game time.
“It’s always good to get out there and see your surroundings and where you’re going to play on Sunday, but at the same time grass is grass anywhere you go,’’ Bucs tackle Chris Hovan said. “Sometimes it’s long, sometimes it’s short. It’ll all be fine [Sunday].’’
