Following his team’s 9-2 loss to Armwood, Plant quarterback Aaron Murray left the locker room on crutches with his right shin wrapped up.
In addition to the five sacks Murray endured throughout the game, he also was flattened on the Plant sideline by a late hit out of bounds (which the Hawks were penalized for) and took a helmet (Armwood linebacker Casey Callahan’s) to his shin in the third quarter.
Coach Robert Weiner said Murray will rest for a couple of days, but should be OK to play at Gaither on Friday.
