The Ryan Nece Foundation and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host its first annual Mind & Body Clinic for teen athletes 13-17 years old on July 21 at One Buccaneer Place.
The clinic will feature strength, speed and agility trainers, a nutritionist and a sport psychologist, along with current NFL players and coaches, to help athletes maximize their potential on the field, court or diamond. The Mind & Body Clinic is open to ALL ATHLETES, as the on-field instruction will not be sport specific.
Nece’s clinic will include approximately two hours of on-field instruction focusing on speed, change of direction, hand-eye and foot-eye coordination, core exercises and plyometrics. Following the field instruction, athletes attending the clinic will eat lunch while they hear from various speakers on subjects such as nutrition, mental focus and imagery, and game preparation. The field instruction, coupled with the classroom-style seminars aim to equip young athletes with all the tools necessary to maximize their athletic potential both physically and mentally.
The clinic is free to the first 150 athletes who register. Registration forms and instructions for submission can be downloaded from www.ryannece56.com or www.buccaneers.com.
