Bulls leading receiver Carlton Mitchell isn’t dressed for this afternoon’s game against Louisville, marking the second consecutive game Mitchell has missed.
Mitchell, who has a team-high 29 receptions for 542 yards, suffered a severely sprained ankle on Oct. 30 against West Virginia and has been slowed since.
USF coach Jim Leavitt was hopeful Mitchell would be ready to return today against the Cardinals, but now he’ll have to shift his optimism for next week’s home game against Miami.
Also not dressed for USF is reserve DT Leslie Stirrups, who has played in eight games. Still not sure why Stirrups is not dressed.
Stay tuned for continuous live blogs throughout the game.
