Is Florida The Best High School Football State?
Florida’s a football state right? But is it the greatest high school football state?
That’s what ESPN wants to know. Pitting state against state in a March Madness-like bracket, fans can vote on their favorite high school state beginning Monday. Click here for the information.
ESPN seeded eight states. Texas earned the No. 1 seed and will square off against No. 8 seed Virgina. No. 2 seed Florida faces No. 7 Louisiana for a spot in the semifinals. No. 3 California is pitted against No. 6 Georgia while No. 4 Ohio and No. 5 Pennsylvania face off.
ESPNU will showcase two of the top Hillsborough County teams on Sept. 5 when they nationally broadcast the Armwood/Plant game.
