Recruiting is already heating up for Freedom junior linebackers Anthony Harrell (photo) and Keith Lewis.

Freedom head coach James Harrell, Anthony’s father, said Florida State, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, South Florida and Miami have shown interest in his 6-foot-2, 220 pound son. Florida State, North Carolina and South Florida have shown interest in Lewis.
James said Notre Dame invited Anthony to attend its game versus USC this past weekend for an unofficial visit, but could not attend. He said he would like to take Anthony to South Bend in November. James added FSU has invited both prospects for unofficial visits.
Freedom’s playoff hopes are on the line this Friday when they take on Wharton (2-4) in a district and neighborhood rivalry. With a win, Wharton automatically receives a playoff berth. The Patriots (3-2) are 0-1 in district play and need to beat Wharton and Brandon to advance to the postseason.
