Clearwater Catholic Pitcher Makes National Team; Hillsborough’s Mitchell Not Selected
Clearwater Central Catholic right-handed pitcher Ryan Weber was selected to the 18U National Baseball Team on Wednesday. Weber was a member of the 18U team that that took Bronze in the Pan American Games last year.
The team will travel to Edmonton, Canada, to participate in the IBAF World Junior Championships from July 25 to Aug. 3.
Hillsborough High catcher Marlon Mitchell, who participated in the 18U team trials, was not selected.
