Armwood football players Mywan Jackson, Ryne Giddins and Angelo Hadley each have set their first visit - it will be to the University of North Carolina on Sept. 20.
All three players hold scholarship offers from the Tar Heels, who host Atlantic Coast Conference foe Virginia Tech that weekend. The three made an unofficial trip together to the campus in Chapel Hill, N.C., this summer, and each said at the time that they were impressed with the program.
Jackson, a quarterback, Hadley, a safety, and Giddins, a defensive lineman, each are considered among Florida’s Top 100 recruits.
In addition, Armwood receiver Rob Jones picked up a scholarship offer from Buffalo, Hawks assistant Evan Davis said. It is the second scholarship offer for Jones, who previously picked one up from Liberty.
