While waiting for the Brett Favre saga to play out, but Roy Cummings and cohorts Ira Kaufman and Anwar Richardson have a little fun with the ongoing spectacle Wednesday, while at the same time weighing in on what’s likely to happen next.

Well said James, Cory and Steve.
The Tampa Tribune is a laughing stock.
We all knew Cummings and Kaufman were a couple of dueches but now the whole country gets a taste of the sour puss we’ve feed all this time now.
These flakes should both be fired as well as the editor.

Cory,
This website usually hangs back before it runs with a story.. Something told them to post this story…I dunno, maybe it was the major media outlets lining up at camp. The trib for the most part waits until the last moment to confirm things, this time they ran with it. Something has to be going on…

What do you mean ... no one knows just exactly how the Favre sage will play out?!
You guys reported that it was a done-deal and he was coming here! It’s amazing how you just act like that never happened.
Did you just report that to drive up some hits on your website to stir up more revenue?
I mean, you haven’t even defended your story once today!
The trib has nothing but egg on its face after this debacle. And from now on, when these clowns here start ragging on Gruden and Allen about different things ... who do you think we’ll trust?
There has to be some accountability for that complete act of high school-level journalism by this so-called paper.

I wouldn’t be so cheery and giggly after I just dropped the ball like you guys did. It’s pretty embarrassing to know the whole country is watching espn while you your name is next to a lie at the bottom of the screen. It takes some brass to take a story like that with absolutely ZERO sources cited to the sports giant espn. I knew something was wrong when the tampa tribune was the first and ONLY source to break the news. And you guys wonder why Gruden and Allen won’t ever give you any information.

I didn’t think we had a chance to get Favre, but now that it seems we do, I like it. Garcia is very good but prone to injury because of his size and style of play. It will be interesting to see what the ole gunslinger can do with our receivers.

So much for that report, Trib. Jay Glazer of FOX Sports just trumped you with the story about Favre traded to the JETS ... not the BUCS.
Hey clowns ... still think he’s coming to Tampa?
