TAMPA – Raheem Morris isn’t the only Bucs assistant coach who has caught the eye of an NFL rival.
The Seattle Seahawks appear to have some interest in possibly making Bucs linebackers coach Casey “Gus’’ Bradley their new defensive coordinator, a source with knowledge of the Seahawks plan said.
The Seahawks still have not asked for permission to speak to Bradley, but the request is merely a formality as Bradley’s contract is set to expire.
Bradley, who has spent the last two years coaching Bucs linebackers, could interview with the Seahawks as soon as today. If so he will become the second coach with ties to the Bucs to interview with the Seahawks in as many days.
Former Bucs defensive line coach and former Detroit Lions head coach Rod Marinelli met with the Seahawks brass on Monday. Marinelli has also interviewed with the Chicago Bears about their coordinator’s job, but word is he may be looking to get back in the game as a defensive line coach.
Should the Bucs lose Bradley there’s a chance they can fill the opening by re-signing Joe Barry as their new linebackers coach. Barry coached Bucs linebackers for six years before joining the Lions as defensive coordinator under Marinelli, who is his father in law.

Jim Kizner, it’s so easy to hate isn’t it. Since your in WV, I guess your only alternative is to root for the Redskins. I’m truly sorry.

Joe Barry would be a horrible addition. He may have been liked by the media here, but if it wasn’t for Shelton and Mr Derrick Brooks that guy probably not be in the NFL. He did a horrible job developing talent and IMO we need a LB coach who can turn Hayes and who ever we draft this year into immediate starters.

Let’s hope that they have an interview with Gruden, after all he is an “Offensive Guru”! Or maybe Allen, he can spot talent like an eagle at 50,000 feet spotting a mouse! I know, it won’t happen because the “Soccer Boys” really know their talent here and wont let Gruden or Allen go while under contract! That is for three more years, between the “Soccer Boys”, the Guru and the top talent scout supreme Guru will keep all of their fans on their toes! 2009 will be an interesting year!

Actually Mr. Kinzer is dead on - which is sad and unforgiveable. The lack of respect for the fans (i.e. the funders) is beyond belief. And we wonder why we live in a time void of trust, integrity, accountability and just plain doing the right thing.
Bring out the orange jerseys!!
