Garcia completed 27 of 36 passes for 310 yards in Sunday night’s 20-10 victory against the Seahawks, including a 47-yard strike to Antonio Bryant that opened the scoring. Garcia spread the ball to 10 different targets as the Bucs rolled up 22 first downs and 402 yards.
Also under consideration for the weekly honor are Buffalo’s Trent Edwards and Matt Schaub of the Texans. Edwards hit on 25 of 30 passes for 261 yards in a 23-14 triumph against San Diego and Schaub completed 26 of 31 passes for 267 yards and two scores in a 28-21 victory against Detroit.
