Orson Charles will reunite with former Plant quarterback Aaron Murray at Georgia. The Panthers wideout chose the Bulldogs over Tennessee and USC. He made the announcement in Plant’s gymnasium this afternoon.
Charles’ decision came after nearly three months of official visits. He narrowed a rather lengthy field to five soon after his appearance in the U.S. Army All-American Game. In addition to the three schools previously mentioned, Charles took official visits to Florida and Florida State. He dropped both schools from consideration last month.
Charles helped lead the Panthers to a Class 4A state championship last year and also led the state with 1,421 receiving yards.

Congratulations Orson! Georgia is a great school with a great tradition and probably the most trophys in its trophy case since 1990, runner up trophys, but still there’s a ton of them! I’m sure Coach Meyer’s boys will never forget how you treated their National Championship Trophy. Best of luck in Jacksonville, with that bullseye on your chest, you’re gonna need it. Can you say Aaron Hernandez? Yeah, I’m sure you can !Go Gators!

Dawg Nation???? what is that? There is only one nation and that is GATOR NATION….charles will end up just like that other all everything receiver..Mike Williams….overweight and underachieving…I say neither Murray or Charles gets playing time next year. How is that other quarterback from Plant doing that went to Miami????

The term “nation”
after a teams mascot was first coined by Al Davis in reference to his Raiders.
Any utterance of that term in, that context, other than describing the Oakland Raiders is unoriginal.
And Aaron murray will play next year,
orson charles will play next year
other than AJ green who do the bull dogs have at reciever?
loosing knowshon moreno as a recieving back will leave a huge void for in the pass game
And comparing mike williams to orson charles in a negative way is stupid, because mike williams was a heck of a college player.in the pro’s he was under achieving and over weight, but not in college.
And Marve was placed in a bad situation in miami, being an out of town recruit.
