Burbridge to compete in Hawaii

According to Gulf coach Jay Fulmer, fullback Will Burbridge has been invited to participate in the Hawaii/Polynesia-Mainland Bowl on Dec. 12 in Hawaii.
Burbridge, who rushed for 585 yards and six touchdowns, will leave Dec. 7 for the game, which will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.
Burbridge is the second Gulf player to be selected for post-season all-star competition. Lineman Leon Orr was scheduled to play in the Under Armour All-America game but a broken leg ended his season after week 2. Orr plans to graduate in January and enroll at the University of Florida.
