At the Half: USF 41, Kent State 20

The Bulls have been very rude hosts to Kent State, USF coach Stan Heath’s former school.
USF leads 41-20 at halftime, dominating the Golden Flashes in all phases.
The Bulls’ final points of the first half provided a fitting cap to the first 20 minutes, as Mike Mercer’s reverse dunk on a steal and assist from Justin Leemow stretched USF’s lead to 21 points, the largest of the half.
