ST. PETERSBURG—Coming off a nightmarish 2-9 road trip in which everything that could go wrong seemed to go wrong in triplicate, the Rays are back at Tropicana Field to begin their second-to-last homestand of the year.
They’ll send James Shields (9-11) to the mound in tonight’s opener against the Blue Jays to face Scott Richmond (6-9, 5.03).
Here is Tampa Bay’s lineup:
