Zephyrhills football coach Reggie Roberts could be suspended following a trespassing warning he picked up during an altercation at the Bulldogs JV football game at Anclote on Thursday.
Sharks athletic director Heidi Michaels told The Tampa Tribune that Roberts, who coaches the JV squad, too, got into a heated argument with Anclote coaches and administration, including the principal and student resource officer.
According to a report from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, Roberts and assistant coach Booker T. Pickett became “belligerent” with the SRO after she separated the Zephyrhills and Anclote coaches. Anclote principal Monica Isle then asked the SRO that Roberts and Pickett be “trespassed” from the school grounds, but Roberts said they “could not be trespassed” and then requested a number for Lt. Gleaton’s phone number and stated, “He will take care of this.”
