This is a big day at the NFL combine for three former Bulls: DE Jason Pierre-Paul, DE George Selvie and LB Kion Wilson.

All three players are scheduled to participate in drills, including the 40-yard dash, broad jump and long jump. They will also do lifting drills.

To watch the combine live starting at 9 a.m., check out NFL.com’s live coverage from Indy.

As for USF’s trio, here is a breakdown of Pierre-Paul and Selvie from a scout at NFL.com:

DE Jason Pierre-Paul, 6-5/270

STRENGTHS

Pierre-Paul has the size, frame and athleticism coveted in a 4-3 defensive end. He was highly productive in his one season at the Football Bowl Subdivision level. Exhibits impressive speed and quickness off the ball as a pass rusher and good long range in run pursuit. Does not have any durability concerns.

WEAKNESSES

He’s a taller, leaner end who needs to watch his pad level. Power at the point must improve in order to hold up at the point of attack at the next level but possesses the frame to add bulk. Has played for three different football programs including just one season of major college football.

DE George Selvie, 6-3/252

STRENGTHS

Selvie was highly productive in college. He’s a tough defender who plays bigger than his listed measurables and with a really consistent effort level. Possesses outstanding quickness off the ball and has good agility. Is a really instinctive performer who knows how to use his hands. Displays very polished pass rush ability. Durable.

WEAKNESSES

Selvie was able to hold up well in college but lacks bulk to hold the point of attack and be a really effective run defender at the next level. Despite his initial quickness, he does not possess the great range you expect to see from a player of his size.

Note: Wilson doesn’t rank high enough as a prospect, so NFL.com didn’t have a scout break down him individually. However, scouts like Wilson’s intelligence, his ability as a tackler and lateral movement. From various reports, there are some concerns about his north-south speed. He is projected as a sixth- or seventh-round pick if he is taken in the draft.
