XFC’s Night of Champions tonight in Tampa

Mixed Martial Arts fans should hit The Forum tonight for XFC X: Night of Champions. The first of 10 bouts kicks off at 7 p.m.

Here’s a rundown of tonight’s matchups: Title Fights: Junior Assuncao (9-4) vs. John Mahlow for Mahlow’s XFC lightweight belt; “The Ironman” Jason Wood (4-0) vs. Jarrod “Wild Card” Card (10-3-1) for Card’s XFC featherweight title; Andrew Conners (debut) will face Jean Colon (0-1); Michael “Wolf Pack” King (1-1) vs. former Brandon High state champ Matt “El Sablazo” Juncal (1-0); Marcio Armeli vs. Julien Williams (1-0); Jarrett Becks (7-6) vs. Jason “Cap” Carapelluci (6-2); Christopher “Beast Boy” Barnett (2-0) vs. Kenny Garner; Derek “D-Rock” Schiffer (2-1) vs. Bruce “The Noose” Connors (7-1); Frankhad Shaipov (9-3) vs. Gilbert Burgos (5-0); Shane Primm (4-2) vs. Gerardo “Julio” Gallegos (3-0).
