SEATTLE—Evan Longoria had his right wrist X-rayed immediately after the game but everything came back fine.
He was hit on the underside of his wrist while trying to avoid an up-and-in pitch from J.J. Putz with one out in the ninth but remained in the game.
“There’s all those little bones on the inside of your wrist and the inside of your hand, so you never know – something could be broken and you just don’t feel it right away,” said Longoria. “So I just wanted to get a precautionary X-ray and everything’s negative. It’s going to be sore, but that’s all right.”
Longoria said he expects to be in the lineup tomorrow.

once again the pathetic offense rears it’s ugly head and wastes a great pitching performance from Sonny.
Suggest removalIf Floyd is such a great influence in the clubhouse, make him a coach, I am so tired of seeing him and everybody else always seem to fail to get the runner home from third with less than 2 outs. Maddon, how about a suicide or safety squeeze? Wheeler is great in the 8th, but for some reason can’t pitch in the 9th. This one hurt.

Did anyone ask Maddon why he didn’t leave Miller in the game to face Ibanez, since he did so well with the other Seattle lefties? Also, has anything been said about Kazmir not backing up the bases three times during his last start?
