After making an official visit to Western Michigan this weekend, Hudson senior QB Zack Wynn was offered a full scholarship by the school, the first such offer that he has received from a Division I FBS program.
Cobras coach Mark Nash confirmed the offer, but said Wynn likely will not make any decisions until he returns home and speaks to his mother. But Wynn has shown a lot of interest in the school, even before the scholarship offer was made.
Western Michigan, 5-7 this season, runs a pass-heavy offense. The Broncos are graduating a four-year starter, Tim Hiller, who threw for more than 270 yards per game, with 23 TD passes.
Only one Hudson player under Nash has ever gone on to play in Division I FBS, Eric Schwartz, a walk-on placekicker at South Florida who earned the starting nod this season.
