Women’s hoops Big East slate

The USF women’s basketball team will face defending national champion Connecticut in the Sun Dome in its Big East Conference opener, according to the schedule released by the league Friday.

St. John’s, Georgetown and Notre Dame, all of which advanced to last season’s NCAA Tournament, also will visit the Sun Dome as part of the Bulls’ 16-game conference slate.

Here is USF’s complete Big East schedule:

Jan. 22: at West Virginia
Jan. 25: Seton Hall

Feb. 16: St. John’s
Feb. 19: Louisville
Feb. 23: at Rutgers
Feb. 26: at Villanova
