With Richardson sidelined, Bailey steps in as Armwood’s QB

By starting wide receiver Alvin Bailey at quarterback Friday against Brandon in place of Darryl Richardson, who has a knee injury, Armwood offensive coordinator Evan Davis figures he’s losing about 50 pounds and seven inches.

“But we gain three tenths of a second in the 40 (yard dash),” Davis says with a smile. “And Alvin is actually a very cerebral kid. He knows all the play calls and has a good grasp of what’s going on around him.”
