TAMPA – If you think the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in bad shape now, just get rid of coach Raheem Morris.
That’s the sentiment Bucs TE Kellen Winslow expressed Wednesday when he was asked about the potential fallout should Morris be dismissed.
“We can’t have anything happen to (Morris)—it would ruin the team,” Winslow said. “Rah is the heart and soul of this team. If something were to happen to him our hearts (would) be broken. We’re playing for him.”
Winslow also reiterated a point that many of his teammates have said in recent weeks, saying the problems the have plagued the Bucs this year “are not (Morris’s) fault.’’

Ruin the Bucs? Heaven forbid we mess up all the “progress” this team has made. What? They might ONLY win 3 games next season? Give me a break, K2. Work more on catching balls that hit you in the hands and less about assessing the value of a coach to a team that has lost 7 in a row.

Firing Rah would ruin the team? Too late!!!

Would not ruin the Bucs if they fired Morris and hired back Tony Dungy? How exactly would that ruin the Bucs? They’d have a skilled NFL level coach again!

Winslow is clearly 10 years behind. The Bucs were ruined when Dungy was fired. Winslow is merely a cog in an already ruined wheel.

How much more ruined can they get at 4-10? Maybe 4- 12? The Giants reportably dislike Tom Coughlin, but yet have enough pride to play well enough to be in the playoff hunt. If the Bucs are playing their hearts out for “Rah” they may need to start worry about the waiver wire; because they aren’t very good. Tony Dungy was much better. Jon Gruden was better. My dog would be a better coach and he has been dead for three years.
