Chicago picked up a run in the bottom of the third, and it’s 1-1 after three innings.
A.J. Piezynski’s two-out single up the middle scored DeWayne Wise, who reached on a walk and stole second. Wise gets credit for some nice base running. He alertly dove back to first base when Juan Uribe hit a potential double-play liner to Carlos Pena with none out.
Before Pierzynski’s RBI, the WHite Sox had been 4-for-17 with runners in scoring position in the series.
