Forum: Talk Rays
|
Two things are obvious looking around just 10 minutes before the first pitch of Game 2 of the American League Championship Series tonight at Tropicana Field:
1. There are a lot more fans in Red Sox colors than there were for Game 1 on Friday night. A lot more. How many of these people were wearing Rays gear for Tampa Bay’s 2-0 loss in Game, then pulled their BoSox gear out of the closet for Game 2? Or how many casual fans decided to put their Game 2 tickets on Craigslist after the opening game setback? Hmmmmm.
2. There are a lot more empty seats, period. The game no doubt will be announced as a sell-out, but there are a lot of empty blue seats sprinkled among the fans. Maybe they’re still in line for beer.
