Wharton’s Dixon signs with Greensboro

Former guard and recent Wharton graduate Damian Dixon has signed with Division III Greensboro College, Wharton coach Tommy Tonelli announced.
Dixon led the Wildcats in scoring last season with 17.8 points per game and helped Wharton reach the Class 6A region semifinals, where the team lost to St. Petersburg. The Wildcats finished 27-2 overall and won a district title.
Dixon was named to the Tribune’s All-Hillsborough County Boys Basketball second-team and named a TBBCA All-Star.
