Holy Names, Wharton volleyball tournament this weekend

The Academy of the Holy Names and Wharton will each host an eight team volleyball tournament this Friday and Saturday.

The Holy Names Invitational will feature the Jaguars, Sickles, Northside Christian, Tampa Catholic, Bishop McLaughlin, Cambridge, Robinson and Seffner Christian.

Pool play begins Friday at 4 p.m. The gold bracket (winner’s bracket) and silver bracket (consolation) will be played Saturday at 3:15 p.m.

At Wharton, the eight teams scheduled to compete are Brandon, Freedom, Riverview, King, Strawberry Crest, Wiregrass Ranch, Wharton and Zephyrhills.

Pool play begins Friday at 5 p.m. The gold bracket (winner’s bracket) and silver bracket (consolation) championship matches will be played Saturday at 5 p.m.
