Come on coaches. A first team and second team all-county pick from Strawberry Crest? With that kind of firepower they should be beating Wharton and Sickles!
Suggest removalI’m not saying these guys aren’t good, but you had to overlook a bunch of better players.
And no way is anybody from Lennard better than the fifth best for Newsome, Plant City, Durant.
And look at Armood. They went 1-24 and still got an all-star. They’ve found an all-star who was not even the best player on his team. There are so many better choices at Wharton and TBT.
It’s sad to play politics with these kids. I am ashamed for all of you.

Response to Facts: These are the best players stat wise. This is Hillsborough Cty if you are not putting up numbers you want get chosen. Keep sending your kids to schools that are winning and if you aren’t the best player on the team, you will be left out too. Strawberry Crest got two players (look at their stats and look at the team record) and Diggs is a freshman. The fact is stop sending kids to schools that are winning and go to a school where they will play!!! Stop hating on losing teams, its all about the stats!

I’m not hating on the losing teams. Strawberry Crest had a fine first year.
Suggest removalBut some of these guys don’t even have stats on their side. For instance, to be considered an all-star when you are on a team that goes 1-24, you should be scoring at least 30 per game, not 11.
I’m sure most of that 11 point scoring average was achieved in garbage time, after the other team had run its JV players out on the court. So we’re looking at a guy who is probably a 2-3 ppg scorer on a decent team, and he is listed as an All-Star!!!
