Hello, good evening, and welcome to TBO.com’s newest blog venture, the Rowdies Report.
I’ll be your host, and hopefully you’ll be good guests to have around, as we follow the FC Tampa Bay Rowdies through a lot of firsts in their inaugural season. I know what I’d like this space on the internet to be, I’m already considering a name change, but let me know what you want it to be as well. Do you want just Rowdies and NASL/USL/Division II coverage, the entire North American professional soccer landscape, or even beyond?
Be sure to let me know, either in the comments section here or at my e-mail address, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). You can also send me story tips, or things you may have noticed that you think need attention. Spectacular goals clips from around the world are highly encouraged.
Oh, and for goodness sakes when you do happen upon us, tell your friends. We’re not the biggest bar in town, but the music’s good, and we’re going to have some fun.

This is great stuff!
I would recommend using the Soccer Insider from the Washington Post as a good model for what should be done here. Mainly covering the Rowdies and the NASL/USL/USSF D2 but also do some coverage of MLS (especially players that are from Florida), Americans Abroad, and, of course, the United States in the World Cup.
Also, some good coverage on the upcoming friendly being held at Raymond James on the 24th.

As always, Nicholas, thank you for your coverage!!! I agree with TSF. I’m originally from the D.C. area, but even without bias, believe Steve Goff at the Post has the best soccer blog out there. I’d say cover what you think in interesting, but always keep local professional soccer at the forefront. Even adding info about minor-leagues such as the PDL Bradenton Academics or Central Florida Craze or the Suncoast League teams would work. Also, maybe talk about the Glazers and Man U or some news about Liverpool and the connection with Dalglish and the local supporters club. Overall though, keep the spotlight on our Rowdies!
