Florida State starting quarterback Drew Weatherford will miss the rest of spring practice due to a knee injury he suffered during Saturday’s scrimmage.
Weatherford, who has started 33 games over the last three seasons, is planning to undergo knee surgery to repair cartiledge damage in his right knee, most likely by the end of the week.
With Weatherford sidelined, redshirt sophomores Christian Ponder and D’Vontrey Richardson will split reps in spring practice. FSU’s Garnet and Gold game is April 12.
