Watch Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Mike Smith leave the ice after being injured

Short video here, but I was able to catch Mike Smith just after he injured his right ring finger (stick hand) during a power play drill. I’m not sure who took the actual shot that injured Smith, but this was recorded just as he was making his way from the bench to the locker room. Notice how he drops the stick as team medical trainer Tom Mulligan quickly comes up to follow Smith into the locker room.

Hey Eric! I was right on the front row right next to the bars by the locker room so I was able to see who made the shot. It was Vinny Lecavalier.
