Here is a statement from fromer Bucs RB Warrick Dunn courtesy of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers via Brock Communications:
“I am thankful for my Tampa Bay Buccaneer experience – in its entirety. It all started here and now in my second term I know I have been blessed to be a Tampa Bay Buccaneer in the NFL. I am thankful for the ownership, coaching, every teammate and especially the fans who have been with me through the highs and lows. It all adds up to an experience I often call “living the dream.” From here I don’t know what the future holds but wherever it goes I go with a full and grateful heart.” - Warrick Dunn

As always a class act just like Brooks, these two will always be remembered as true leaders. This is a sad day for us fans, and a slap in the face for these true gentlemen who didn’t deserve that.Management and the Glaziers just shot their selves in the foot, I hope they choke on this assinine decision. It will surely come back to bite them in the ###, and hurt their greedy pockets. The guys will have bright futures in football or not.

From here I don’t know what the future holds for the Bucs but wherever it goes I go with a empty and angry heart. - Roland
Warrick you certainly have more class then me and 10 times that of this organizations leadership. I for one hope you choose Tampa as a home when your playing days are over (although I know u will probably choose to stay in Louisiana). I’m sorry your Mom isn’t here anymore to tell you how proud she is of you, but I can tell you that I have never met anyone from Tampa who isn’t proud of you. Good luck in everything your future brings.

For those who think Brooks would had made a difference, please 36yrs old, as a linebacker in the day in the NFL, look the guy was great yes he was, and probably a first ballot hall of famer, it had to end sometime, better now then later, and Dunn, well he is done, Hilliard who? and June, i am kind of surprised, Galloway, well he i would have kept, but it doesn’t matter now, stop your crying and moaning, its time for the new era to begin, so lets give them a chance before we throw everyone under the buss.
