Tampa Bay RB Warrick Dunn (back) is not participating in Friday’s walk-through, which leads us to believe that he probably will not play on Sunday against Kansas City.
As a result, RB Michael Bennett will likely play instead of Dunn on Sunday as Tampa Bay probably rests him this week and during the bye. Bucs Coach Jon Gruden said all week that practice is important and players need to participate in order to play on Sunday’s, which is another reason why it would be a surprise if Dunn plays.
“Warrick didn’t do much last week and we’ll make that decision when we get to Kansas City,” Bucs Coach Jon Gruden said. “He didn’t practice today, and today is Friday, and we are concerned, obviously.”
Also, we did not notice G Arron Sears (concussion) at practice.
“He got a slight concussion during Wednesday’s practice and he’s feeling much better,” Gruden said. “He does have the back [injury], which was somewhat of a problem. He’s got the head. I think it’s a combination of both. I did get a chance to visit with him extensively today and he is feeling better. We hope to have him on Sunday.”

Michael Bennett will finally get his time on sunday, he hasn’t played at all this year and will finally get his chance to show people he doesn’t belong on the bench. He had a great preseason and I wouldn’t be suprised if he does well on sunday, especially against a terrible chiefs defense.

Michael Bennett has a big day against his former team to prove them wrong along with everyone else who held him off the field. The guy has talent and break away speed. Just look what he has done with a chance. He came in for about 2 or 3 toaches against the Jaguars last year scored on a 30 yard screen play and had another swing pass that could of been about a 30 or 40 yard play but the pass was over thrown. No FB can cover him, he is a big mismatch. Go Bucs and Bennett on Sunday.

Hey Bucsfan2, What FB is going to cover a RB? I dont think there is a FB that can cover any RB in the NFL.
