Former Tampa Bay Tech star Antonio Wallace is just three games into his collegiate career and is already having a major impact on his Northern Michigan University squad.

After earning MVP honors for NMU in Week 1 of the season and scoring three touchdowns in Week 2—including a long punt return—Wallace produced his highest rushing total in Week 3 on Saturday when he churned out a team-high 158 yards on 14 carriers in the Wildcats’ 48-16 romp over Michigan Tech.
Included in Wallace’s total was a 65-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter that gave NMU a 48-10 lead.
As a true freshman, Wallace now leads the Wildcats in rushing with 316 yards on just 28 carriers for an impressive average-per-rush of 11.1 yards. He’s also their top punt returner, averaging 34.3 yards and scoring on an 82-yard return.
