TAMPA – It looks as though Bucs linebackers coach Joe Barry is in demand again.
Barry, whom the Redskins were interested in making their linebackers coach, has been contacted twice in the last few days by new University of Tennessee coach Derek Dooley.
Dooley is apparently interested in talking to Barry about becoming his new defensive coordinator. That’s the position that former Bucs DC Monte Kiffin left the Bucs to fill a year ago.
Barry has another year remaining on his contract and was not permitted to speak to the Redskins. That contract is believed to be standing in the way of Barry going to Tennessee as well.
