Rochester is unable to gain ground as it is held to a draw by Minnesota in Friday night’s USSF Division II action.
ROCHESTER 0, MINNESOTA 0: A week after beating the best defensive side in the league, the Rhinos were unable to find a way past the Stars, on paper the worst defensive team in the USSF Division II.
Rochester went close to opening the scoring in the 10th minute as Tyler Roselund’s blast from just outside the penalty area hit the crossbar, but only forced Stars goalkeeper Joe Warren into three saves. The Stars had only one shot on goal, but will be happy to take a point with their third shutout of the season.
