USF’s Gonzalez under consideration for Puerto Rico’s U21 National Team

USF and former Gaither High soccer player Fernando Gonzalez has been selected to the Puerto Rico under-21 National Team pool.
A junior midfielder, Gonzalez has a chance to move on and compete in the Central American and Caribbean Games in July if he makes the national team.
he games will be held in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico.
Gonzalez finished last season seventh on the team in scoring with six points, helping USF advance to the second round of the Big East Tournament.
