University of South Florida men’s soccer players Chris Blais and Aubrey Perry are among 52 seniors invited to take part in the MLS Player Combine, it was announced Wednesday.
The event is being held in Fort Lauderdale from Jan. 6-10. Blais was one of four goalkeepers and Perry one of 16 defenders to receive an invite.
Both Blais and Perry played key roles in helping the Bulls make a run to the NCAA tournament Elite Eight this season. Blais started all 21 games in goal and posted a 0.81 goals against average for the season. Perry was a third team All-Big East pick in his final season.
USF was one of 13 college programs with multiple players selected for the event.
