The USF women’s soccer team bounced back from a disappointing showing in its season opener to defeat visiting Indiana, 2-1, Friday night in the first regular-season game at the new Corbett Soccer Stadium.
Forward Demi Stokes gave the Bulls an early 1-0 lead, and forward Chelsea Klotz provided what proved to be the game winner early in the second half. The game drew an announced crowd of 1,217, the second-largest home crowd in USF women’s soccer program history.
