The USF women’s basketball team will have a chance to make Connecticut star Maya Moore’s final trip to Tampa as bad as her first one.
The highlight of the Bulls’ home-and-away Big East schedule—released by the conference today—is a visit to the Sun Dome by the two-time defending national champion Huskies.
Connecticut has won 78 consecutive games and hasn’t lost since losing to Stanford in the Women’s Final Four in Tampa in 2008.
The Bulls will host Connecticut, Notre Dame, St. John’s, Georgetown, Cincinnati, Louisville, Marquette, and Seton Hall in conference play.
They will travel to Georgetown, DePaul, Pittsburgh, Providence, Rutgers, Syracuse, Villanova, and West Virginia.
USF, after winning the 2009 WNIT, finished 15-16 last season, including a first-round WNIT loss at Florida.
Dates and times will not be announced until the end of August.
