The third quarter just ended here at Raymond James Stadium with USF holding a 27-19 lead. After West Virginia closed the gap to 20-19 on its first drive of the quarter, USF answered on quarterback B.J. Daniels’ third touchdown pass of the game.
Daniels hit Sterling Griffin on a 6-yard scoring pass to put the Bulls up by 8 once again. The quarter ended with USF facing a third-and-seven at its 35.
I’ll be back after a game with some notes and nuggets.
