The USF volleyball team has rebounded from a rough start to the season and now is on its best roll in two years.
The Bulls captured the UCF Invitational crown by defeating the host Knights in four sets Sunday and pushed their winning streak to four games, the program’s longest win streak since 2009. The recent success has helped erase an 0-5 start.
Freshman Valerie El Houssine, who reached double-digit kills for a sixth consecutive game with 12 in the win over the Knights, was named the tournament MVP. USF’s Andrea Rodriguez Gomez and Shelbie Dailey were named to the all-tournament team.
