USF seniors George Selvie, Nate Allen and Jerome Murphy all accepted invitations Tuesday to play in the Senior Bowl.
The defensive trio spent Tuesday preparing to play in Saturday’s International Bowl against Northern Illinois. After their final college game, they will turn their attention to the Jan. 30 Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala.
“I’m honored to accept an invitation to the Senior Bowl and begin the next stage in my career,” Selvie said. “I’ve worked for five years to have the opportunity to move to the next level and being a part of the Senior Bowl provides the biggest stage and best opportunity for my professional goals.”
Selvie enters the International Bowl as USF’s all-time sacks leader (29) and tackles-for-loss (69.5) record holder, which leads all active players.
