USF to host N.C. State in NIT

USF (20-12) hosts N.C. State (19-15) in the first round of the NIT on Tuesday night at the Sun Dome.
Tip-off is at 8 p.m. on ESPNU.
The Bulls and Wolfpack have played only once, a 125-88 N.C. State victory in December 1972 in the second season of USF’s program.
N.C. State made an impressive run in the ACC Tournament, knocking off NCAA Tournament-bound Clemson and Florida State before losing to Georgia Tech on Saturday in the ACC semifinals.
