USF men’s hoops Big East schedule announced

USF’s home and road opponents had already been announced, but Stan Heath’s squad now knows the order in it will face league foes after the Big East Conference on Wednesday released its complete 2011-12 men’s basketball schedule.

The Bulls open their conference slate at home against defending national champion Connecticut on Dec. 28, and also will close it at home against West Virginia on March 3. All of USF’s conference home games this season will be played at the St. Pete Times Forum due to the ongoing renovation of the Sun Dome.

ESPN also released its Big East television schedule for the upcoming season, and the Bulls have three games slated for broadcast: road games at Georgetown (Feb. 4) and Pittsburgh (Feb. 19), and a home matchup with Villanova on Feb. 15.
