USF hosts FAU in WNIT

The University of South Florida women’s basketball team (17-15, 9-9 during the Big East Conference’s regular season) will host Florida Atlantic (17-12, 11-5 Atlantic Sun) on Thursday night in a Women’s National Invitation Tournament first-round game.

USF must play without junior point guard Sasha Bernard, who tore her ACL during the Big East Conference Tounament last week.

The Bulls won the WNIT championship in 2009.
