USF Hanging Tough, Leading 7-0

GAINESVILLE—The University of South Florida Bulls continue to lead the Florida Gators 7-0 early in the second quarter.
The Gators, which have only slightly ventured into USF territory so far, drove to their 40-yard line. But on third-and-9, a pass attempt from QB John Brantley to WR Deonte Thompson was broken up by Bulls DB Jerrell Young.
You can’t blame this one on bad snaps. So far, the Gators are being dominated by the Bulls on both sides of the ball.
