Sometimes my laptop likes me, sometimes it doesn’t.
Since I can’t seem to get this video uploaded to the blog, click here to watch a video of USF football coach Skip Holtz addressing the media after today’s practice in Vero Beach.
Holtz said the Bulls practiced better than on Wednesday night and is optimistic about injured offensive lineman Mark Popek being able to return sooner than later.
—The Bulls are scheduled to practice on Friday from 3:30 to 5:45 in shorts. Holtz wants to give the players a break from the camp grind on Friday, so no pads.
He also plans to let them sleep in and get a little rest to try and combat the mental and physical fatigue that is starting to set in.
—For those interested in coming over to Vero to watch USF’s first scrimmage of fall camp, the scrimmage is scheduled to start at 11:30 on Saturday morning and last until around 2.
There is limited bleacher seating, so if you do plan to come, you might want to bring your own chair. And don’t forget the sun screen. I learned my lesson the first day at practice here.
