The University of South Florida has already secured a verbal commitment from one Tampa Bay area prospect in Oldsmar Christian guard Troy Holston.

They could land another.

The Bulls are among a handful of programs recruiting Tampa Catholic 6-foot-6 senior forward Chivarsky Corbett. Corbett averaged a near double-double last season with 22 points and 9.9 rebounds per game and was selected to the Tribune’s All-Hillsborough County first-team.

According to Tampa Catholic head coach Don Dziagwa, Corbett also has offers from Texas Pan-American and Jacksonville. Dziagwa said Corbett will be visiting Indiana Purdue Ft. Wayne (IPFW) and the University of Delaware within the next two weeks. James Madison made a visit to TC on Tuesday and Delaware will visit today, Dziagwa said. George Mason is recruiting Corbett as well

Dziagwa said Corbett wants to make official visits before he makes a committment.
